USCA Winery is located in the Urla district of Izmir, Turkey. Urla is a beautiful and historic area on the western coast of Izmir. USCA Winery is renowned for its vineyards and modern wine production facilities in this region.

You can reach Urla from Izmir city center in approximately a 45-minute drive. Head west on the Çeşme Highway (O-32) and take the Urla exit. Follow the road signs to reach USCA Winery.

Guided wine tastings are organized for 550 Turkish liras per person. If you prefer to visit individually rather than as part of a group, you can explore the vineyards and cellars. On Mondays, only sales are available, but on other days, you can enjoy tastings with 5 cc options. You can try most wines with a cheese platter. The Sonnet 5 wine, in particular, is exquisite—sweet, rose-scented, refreshing, and refined.

Parking is ample, making it a great spot for a weekend getaway. The winery only accepts adult visitors. The wine experts' explanations make the wines even more enjoyable. You can see barrels embedded in the floor inside.

Regarding the wines, they have taken inspiration from Shakespeare's sonnets for their names, and they include excerpts from these poems in the wine introduction booklet. This gives each wine a unique character beyond just being a drink, which made the tasting experience more delightful for me.
